Mt Storm Loses Member !
Edward Blaine Clark


The Mt Storm Volunteer Fire Department regrets to announce the passing of Edward Blaine Clark. Ed was a current active member of the MT Storm Volunteer Fire Department. Formally from Winchester Va Ed joined our department in 2003 shortly after he moved here. Ed previously served in various fire departments in the Winchester area including Rouss (Co 2) and South End (Co 5). Ed was also active in law enforcement. Ed was a firefighter and engineer for us and was currently active. Ed is survived by his wife, Jane and his son, John. He was 54. Friends will be received at the Schaeffer Funeral Home, Petersburg, on Monday from 7 to 9 p.m. and graveside services will be held in Mt. Hebron Cemetery, Winchester, Virginia at a future date.

The Mt Storm Volunteer Fire Department Firemans Carnival is July 15th – 17th Thursday Activities – Crowning of the Fire Queen and Baby Contest Winners Friday – Music By Travis Minnick Saturday – Firemens Parade – 6pm – Lineup begins at 4:30pm. Food, Fun, and Games for all ages.

The Mt Storm Volunteer Fire is pleased to announce Today, They received an Assistance to Firefighters Grant for the amount of $49,638.00.

Engine Rescue Updates
Tuesday February 16 2010
The Mt Storm Volunteer Fire is pleased to announce they placed into service their new Engine Rescue. The unit was placed into service today Tuesday February 16th 2010 around 1800 Hrs.
Friday February 12 2010
The Mt Storm Volunteer Fire is pleased to announce they taken delivery of their new Engine Rescue. There is much work to be completed before the unit can be placed into service. We will continue to update and add photo's as the production progresses towards the in service date.

The Mt Storm Volunteer Fire is pleased to announce the update of their new Engine Rescue. The Cab and Body have been joined and the paint scheme applied some lettering has been added as well. We will continue to update and add photo's as the production progresses towards the delivery date of February 12, 2010.

The Mt Storm Volunteer Fire Company has placed into production a 2010 Spartan Metro Star to be designated as Engine Rescue 150.This unit will be replacing Engine 150 which is for sale for more information on purchasing Engine 150 see below. We will continue to update and add photo's as the production progresses towards the delivery date of February 12, 2010.

MT STORM VOLUNTEER FIRE COMPANY, INC. • ORGANIZED The Mt Storm Volunteer Fire Company was organized as a department which began using 1 1929 engine out of 1 station on Route 50 at the intersection of Patterson Creek Road South. Today we operate out of a much newer and larger station located 1 mile east of the old Station on Route 50
